Requests the Commission, in close coordination with the ESA, to build on the capabilities and existing infrastructure (terrestrial, airborne, seaborne and spacebased) and to start pilot projects in line with users' views, based on the initial potential priority themes as described in the action plan; RECALLS in this context its Resolution of 16 November 2000 on a European space strategy where it agreed, inter alia, that the Commission and the ESA should seek to arrive at an efficient framework for cooperation.
2. DEMANDE à la Commission, en étroite coordination avec l'ASE, de développer les capacités et l'infrastructure existante (terrestre, aérienne, maritime et spatiale) et de lancer des projets pilotes conformes aux avis exprimés par les utilisateurs, sur la base des thèmes prioritaires potentiels initiaux exposés dans le plan d'action; RAPPELLE à cet égard sa résolution du 16 novembre 2000 sur la stratégie européenne pour l'espace , dans laquelle il est convenu, notamment, que la Commission et l'ASE devaient rechercher la voie d'un cadre de coopération efficace;
