Furthermore, the proposed amendment suggests accessing the information obtained by the liaison officers’ network through ICONet, which is a secure information and coordination network for the immigration management services of Member States, accessing the External Borders Fund to promote the creation of liaison officers’ networks and, finally, facilitating a mechanism for the presentation of reports on the activity of the network and the designation of named regions of interest in the area of immigration.
Par ailleurs, la proposition de modification suggère d’accéder aux informations obtenues par les réseaux d’officiers de liaison au travers d’ICONet (réseau d’information et de coordination sécurisé connecté à l’internet pour les services des États membres chargés de la gestion des flux migratoires), d’accéder au Fonds pour les frontières extérieures afin de renforcer la création de réseaux d’officiers de liaison et de prévoir un mécanisme pour la présentation de rapports sur les activités des réseaux et la sélection des régions spécifiques revêtant un intérêt particulier pour l’Union européenne dans le domaine de l’immigration.
