In February of this year the president of the Canadian Paediatric Society, on behalf of the society said to Canadians that they wholeheartedly support the international guidelines set by the World Health Organization and UNICEF that breast feeding should be given for one year at least for the optimal health of the children during that first year.
En février dernier, le président de la Société canadienne de pédiatrie, a dit aux Canadiens, au nom de la société, que la société appuyait entièrement les lignes directrices internationales fixées par l'Organisation mondiale de la santé et l'UNICEF, à savoir que les mères devraient allaiter pendant un an au moins leurs enfants afin que ceux-ci jouissent d'une santé optimale au cours de cette première année.
