Due to the small number of mallard ducks present on the holding where preventive vaccination is to be carried out, as well as for reasons of traceability and logistics, vaccinated mallard ducks should not be moved from that holding, but killed after the end of their reproductive cycle in accordance with the requirements of Article 10(1) of Council Directive 93/119/EEC of 22 December 1993 on the protection of animals at the time of slaughter or killing (10)
En raison du faible nombre de colverts présents dans l’exploitation où doit s’effectuer la vaccination préventive, ainsi que pour des raisons de traçabilité et de logistique, il y a lieu d’interdire les mouvements des colverts vaccinés à partir de cette exploitation et de mettre à mort ces derniers après la fin de leur cycle reproductif, conformément aux dispositions de l’article 10, paragraphe 1, de la directive 93/119/CE du Conseil du 22 décembre 1993 sur la protection des animaux au moment de leur abattage ou de leur mise à mort (10).
