The three core departments involved in international trade at the federal level, our department, Industry Canada and Agri-Food Canada, are preparing an integrated business plan which will identify common objectives in the areas of investment, market development, exporter preparation and market access which will be reviewed by this business advisory board and will be the subject of a report annually to indicate to Parliament and to the Canadian public what exactly has been accomplished over the preceding year.
Les trois principaux ministères qui s'occupent du commerce international à l'échelle fédérale, soit notre ministère, Industrie Canada et Agroalimentaire Canada, sont en train de préparer un plan d'entreprise intégré qui énoncera les objectifs communs dans les domaines de l'investissement, du développement de marché, de la préparation des exportateurs et de l'accès au marché. Ce plan sera revu par le conseil consultatif et fera l'objet d'un rapport annuel destiné à indiquer au Parlement et au public canadien ce qui a été accompli l'année précédente.
