Migrants, particularly women, are often the prime victims of forced labour, and criminalising their legal status if their papers are not in order, or criminalising the work that they are forced to do (of the USD 150 billion in profits derived from forced labour, two thirds is the fruit of sexual exploitation), makes it impossible for them to access legal resources which could otherwise enforce their rights.
