For the purposes of heading No , the expression "original engravings, prints and lithographs" means impressions produced directly, in black and white or in colour, of one or of several plates wholly executed by hand by the artist, irrespective of the process or of the material employed by him, but not including any mechanical or photomechanical process.

On considère comme "gravures, estampes et lithographies originales", au sens du n° , les épreuves tirées directement, en noir ou en couleurs, d'une ou plusieurs planches entièrement exécutées à la main par l'artiste, quelle que soit la technique ou la matière employée, à l'exception de tout procédé mécanique ou photomécanique.
