Secondly, my wish and hope for the Council and for the new Commission is that now with the new Lisbon Treaty, the core issue in our foreign policy would be dealt with by the trio of the President of the Commission, the High Representative and the Climate Change Commissioner and allow for negotiation on the basis of a single negotiated text.
Deuxièmement, je souhaite et j’espère, pour le Conseil et pour la nouvelle Commission, que maintenant que le traité de Lisbonne est en vigueur, la problématique centrale de notre politique étrangère sera gérée par le trio constitué par le président de la Commission, la haute représentante et le commissaire en charge du changement climatique, ce qui permet une négociation sur la base d’un simple texte négocié.
