In areas of services of general interest not covered by sectoral reporting or by the horizontal evaluation in the framework of the Cardiff process, the Commission is prepared to work with Member States and other public authorities to introduce a system for benchmarking the effectiveness of measures introduced to achieve an adequate performance of these services.

1.3.3. The results of the IDA II mid-term evaluation are presented in this Report.
