Provided that the assessment is positive, the Commission will be invited by the European Council to: (1) submit without delay a proposal for a framework for negotiations with the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, in line with the European Council's December 2006 conclusions and established practice; (2) carry out the process of analytical examination of the EU acquis beginning with the chapters on the judiciary and fundamental rights, and justice, freedom and security.
En cas de résultat positif, la Commission sera invitée par le Conseil européen à: 1) présenter sans retard une proposition de cadre de négociations avec l'ancienne République yougoslave de Macédoine conformément aux conclusions du Conseil européen de décembre 2006 et aux modalités établies; 2) procéder à un examen analytique de l'acquis de l'UE, en commençant par les chapitres concernant le système judiciaire et les droits fondamentaux, ainsi que la justice, la liberté et la sécurité.
