Wood treated this way and placed on the market for the first time can only be used in industrial and professional applications, e.g. on railways, in electric power transmission and telecommunications, for fencing and in harbours and waterways, except in certain cases where its use is excluded, e.g. inside buildings, in contact with products intended for human or animal consumption, in playgrounds and in other outdoor places for public pleasure or where there is a risk for contact with skin.
Les bois traités de cette manière et qui sont mis sur le marché pour la première fois sont réservés à un usage exclusivement professionnel et industriel (chemins de fer, lignes électriques et de télécommunications, clôtures, installations portuaires ou voies fluviales), sauf dans certains cas où leur utilisation est interdite, par exemple à l'intérieur de bâtiments, lorsqu'ils sont susceptibles d'entrer en contact avec des produits destinés à l'alimentation humaine et/ou animale, sur les terrains de jeu et autres lieux récréatifs publics de plein air ou pour tout usage entraînant un risque de contact avec la peau.
