One possibility to be looked at in detail would be to set up a high-level institutional group (e.g.: a vice-president of Parliament and/or the chair of the Conference of Presidents + the General Affairs Council presidency + a Commission vice-president), which could meet regularly to deal with operational planning, exchange information on priority dossiers, etc.
