(5) la Commission, dans son livre blanc "Enseigner et apprendre - Vers la société cognitive", expose que l'avènement de la société cognitive implique que soit encouragée l'acquisition de connaissances nouvelles; il convient à cette fin de développer toutes les formes d'incitation à apprendre; la Commission, dans son livre vert "Éducation, formation, recherche: les obstacles à la mobilité transnationale", a mis en exergue le bénéfice qu'apporte la mobilité aux personnes et à la compétitivité dans l'Union européenne;
(5) in its White Paper "Teaching and learning - Towards the learning society",the Commission stated that the emergence of the learning society entails encouraging the acquisition of new knowledge and to this end providing motivation to learn at every opportunity; and in its Green Paper "Education, training, research: the obstacles to transnational mobility", the Commission highlighted the advantages of mobility for people and competitiveness in the European Union;
