Il porte sur la construction et l’exploitation d’un gazoduc sous-marin entre Beni Saf, en Algérie, et un atterrage à proximité d’Almería, en Espagne, et comprend un terminal de réception du gaz du côté espagnol, une station de compression d’une capacité initiale de 99 MW à Beni Saf, une conduite de 61 cm de diamètre, pour une capacité de 8 Gm³/a, ainsi que des sections courtes à proximité du rivage dans la perspective éventuelle de la construction d’un second gazoduc sous-marin de même diamètre.
