It was confirmed to me on the morning of the 21st, prior to my departure from Ottawa, that the mission had been successfully completed and had the details described by Mr. Toews at the outset of the meeting tonight, and I asked the DCDS on my behalf to brief the minister by secure phone at the appointed time for the briefing that had been set with him in Mexico City.
