3. Les actions de coopération viseront aussi à promouvoir la mise au point de politiques communes et l'harmonisation du cadre juridique, dans la mesure exclusivement où ces domaines sont couverts par les instruments d'intégration centraméricains et selon les modalités convenues entre les parties; il s'agit entre autres de politiques sectorielles dans les domaines du commerce, des douanes, de l'énergie, des transports, des communications, de l'environnement et de la concurrence, ainsi que la coordination des politiques macro-économiques dans des domaines tels que la politique monétaire, la politique fiscale et les finances publiques.

3. Cooperation shall also promote the development of common policies and the harmonization of the legal framework, only and exclusively to the extent that they are covered by the Central American integration instruments and as agreed by the Parties, including sectorial policies in areas such as trade, customs, energy, transport, communications, environment and competition, as well as the coordination of macroeconomic policies in areas such as monetary policy, fiscal policy and public finance.
