The interim evaluation of the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking set out in the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions of 2011 entitled ‘Partnering in Research and Innovation’ has shown that the Joint Undertaking has served as a platform for creating a strong partnership, for leveraging public and private funding and for the strong involvement of industry, in particular SMEs.
