En janvier 1988, suite à une plainte déposée par l'Association européenne des fabricants représentant la totalité de la production communautaire de filmpolyester, la Commission a ouvert une enquête anti-dumping sur les importations de ce produit en provenance de Corée.
In January 1988, following a complaint submitted by the Association of European Manufacturers, which accounts for the whole of Community production of polyesterfilm, the Commission opened an anti-dumping investigation of imports of such film from Korea.
La Commission est donc parvenue, compte tenu de l'ensemble des facteurs économiques, à la conclusion que les importations de filmpolyester en provenance de Corée n'ont pas causé un préjudice grave à l'industrie communautaire.
Having taken all the economic factors into account, the Commission has come to the conclusion that imports of polyesterfilm from Korea have not caused serious injury to Community industry and has notified the complainants accordingly.
