(2) Le garde-chasse en chef d’une province peut, avec l’assentiment du Directeur, accorder à toute personne qui réside dans la province un permis l’autorisant à employer un avion ou des armes à feu, dans la région désignée et durant la période stipulée dans le permis, pour effaroucher des oiseaux migrateurs qui causent ou risquent de causer des dégâts aux cultures ou à d’autres biens.
(2) The chief game officer of a province, with the concurrence of the Director, may grant a permit to any person residing in the province to use an aircraft or firearms, in the area designated and during the time specified in the permit, for the purpose of scaring migratory birds that are causing or likely to cause damage to crops or other property in the area.
