Avec effet au 31 décembre 1996, elle a, d’une part, conféré à France Télécom le titre d’entreprise nationale soumise aux dispositions législatives applicables aux sociétés anonymes, dans la mesure où elles ne seraient pas contraires à la loi et, d’autre part, transféré à titre gratuit l’essentiel des biens, droits et obligations de la personne morale de droit public France Télécom à l’entreprise nationale France Télécom.
With effect from 31 December 1996, on the one hand it conferred on France Télécom the title of public company subject to the laws and regulations applicable to public limited companies, in so far as they are not contrary to the law, and on the other hand, it transferred, free of charge, the bulk of the assets, rights and obligations of the legal entity governed by public law France Télécom to the public company France Télécom.
