Toutefois, conformément à l’objectif général du règlement LIFE, à savoir améliorer l’élaboration, la mise en œuvre et le contrôle de l’application de la politique et de la législation de l’Union en matière de climat et apporter le niveau requis de valeur ajoutée pour l’Union, la mise en œuvre des subventions à l’action sera liée aux trois domaines prioritaires – atténuation du changement climatique, adaptation au changement climatique et gouvernance et information en matière de climat – ainsi qu’aux objectifs spécifiques mentionnés aux articles 14, 15 et 16 du règlement LIFE.
However, in line with the general objective of the LIFE Regulation, i.e. to improve the development, implementation and enforcement of Union climate policy and legislation and to provide for the required EU added value, the implementation of action grants, will be linked with the three priority areas — climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation and climate governance and information — as well as with the specific objectives as specified by Article 14, 15 and 16 of the LIFE Regulation.
