La Commission a également continué de veiller résolument au respect des règles en adoptant trois décisions d’interdiction de positions dominantes, parmi lesquelles la décision Microsoft, qui prévoit une amende substantielle (497 millions d’euros) et oblige l’intéressée à divulguer des informations relatives à l'interopérabilité et à offrir une version de son système d’exploitation pour PC ne comprenant pas son lecteur multimédia (voir IP/04/382).
The Commission also continued its strong commitment to effective enforcement, adopting 3 decisions prohibiting abuse of dominance, including the Microsoft decision which imposed a substantial fine (€497 million) and obliged Microsoft to disclose interoperability information and make available a version of its PC operating system without its media player (see IP/04/382).
