7. demande instamment au Conseil et à la Commission de prêter la plus grande attention au second procès en cours contre l'ancien dirigeant du groupe pétrolier Ioukos, Mikhaïl Khodorkovski, qui abonde déjà en graves violations au droit à un procès équitable, dont, de manière non limitative, les accusations de mauvais traitements infligés à Vassili Alexanian, et qui constitue la pierre de touche des efforts du président Medvedev pour établir une justice indépendante en Russie;
7. Urges the Council and Commission to pay the utmost attention to the ongoing second trial of former Yukos Oil chief Mikhail Khodorkovsky, which is already replete with severe due process violations, including but not limited to the alleged torture of Vasily Aleksanyan, and which is considered the main test case for President Medvedev’s efforts to establish an independent judicial system in Russia;
