Au milieu de l’année 2012, le rapport final sur la projection d’images fictives ou d’images de menace (technologie TIP), largement utilisée dans les aéroports de l'UE lors de l'inspection/filtrage des bagages de cabine, des objets transportés et des bagages de soute, a été remis par le consultant Booz Co. Il a principalement confirmé que, si elle est déployée de façon adéquate, la technologie TIP peut avoir une incidence positive sur l'efficacité du travail des opérateurs chargés de l'inspection/filtrage.

By mid 2012 the final report on the Threat Image Projection (TIP) that is largely used at EU airports in screening cabin baggage, items carried and hold baggage was submitted by the consultant BoozCo. It mainly confirmed that, if adequatley deployed, TIP has the potential to positively impact screener performance.
