The world, I suspect, will bridle strongly if the United States sees as part of the unilateralism the construction of a new world order made up, in part, of the “new countries” of Europe that are emerging, compared to Rumsfeld's old countries, and if they think the new democracies in the Middle East and adjacent states will bring together some kind of new world order.
