In special steels, the new Group, taken alone and ignoring production of companies in the three new Member States (1) is the largest producer in the Community of Six, accounting for 13 % of the market (Thyssen 7 % and Rheinstahl 6 %), and is followed by four undertakings accounting respectively for 12, 11, 9 and 7 %. Seven further firms produce between 3 74 and 4 76 % each. The 12 largest producers account for some 80 % of total Community production. The remaining 20 % is produced by more than 60 firms, including 29 German firms.
