In the field of asylum, projects to be carried out under the Programme will aim notably at improving the coordinated application of the 1990 Dublin Convention ("determining the State responsible for examining applications for asylum lodged in one of the Member States of the European Communities") with regard to specific problems relating to its procedures, provisions on time limits and evidence.
