En vue de consulter les parties concernées au sujet de l’avenir du REM, la Commission a adopté, le 28 novembre 2005, un «Livre vert sur l’avenir du réseau européen des migrations» qui évaluait le fonctionnement du REM au cours des premières années de la période préparatoire et traitait de questions telles que le mandat et la structure future du REM.
In order to consult relevant stakeholders about the future of the EMN, the Commission adopted on 28 November 2005 a ‘Green Paper on the future of the European Migration Network’ which, in addition to an assessment of the functioning of the EMN during the first years of the preparatory period, also dealt with issues such as the mandate and future structure of the EMN.
