En effet, lors du Conseil du mois de décembre dernier, cette délégation avait évoqué, d'une part, la question de la création d'une catégorie distincte dans la variété des tabacs orientaux (sun cured) pour la variété produite en Italie et, d'autre part, l'application des mesures de soutien du marché au titre de l'article 17 du règlement de base de l'organisation commune des marchés du tabac.
At last December's Council meeting the Italian delegation had raised the question of creating a separate category within the sun-cured oriental variety for the variety produced in Italy and the question of applying market-support measures under Article 17 of the basic Regulation on the common organization of the tobacco markets.
