In its programme notified at the end of 1994 and at the beginning of 1995 Iberia takes the view that the outlook is now good on the market between Europe and Latin America and it thus plans to keep its entire Latin American strategy, which has meant a certain amount of extra investment, especially, in 1994, an increase in its holding in Aerolíneas Argentinas from 30 % to 83,35 % following the reduction in the participation of the Argentine State.
À noter que dans son programme ainsi notifié à la fin de l'année 1994 et au début de l'année 1995, la compagnie considère que les perspectives sont désormais bonnes sur le marché Europe-Amérique latine. Elle entendait en conséquence maintenir toute sa stratégie latino-américaine qui a entraîné certains investissements supplémentaires, notamment, en 1994, une augmentation de sa participation de 30 à 83,35 % dans le capital d'Aerolíneas Argentinas à la suite d'une réduction de l'engagement de l'État argentin.
