At the moment there is no alternative that can provide the same level of guarantees given, in particular, that there is no system in place at Community level requiring the responsible official bodies of the Member States to certify the origin of the wood used to produce susceptible wood packaging material, and that the introduction of such provisions is not possible at short term.
Pour le moment, aucune autre solution n’offre les mêmes garanties, notamment parce qu’aucun système communautaire en vigueur n’exige des organes officiels responsables des États membres qu’ils certifient l’origine du bois utilisé pour produire des matériaux d’emballage à base de bois sensible, et parce qu’il est impossible d’instaurer des dispositions en ce sens à bref délai.
