By letter dated 21 October 1997 the Commission forwarded to the Spanish authorities for comment the observations of third parties (namely the Liaison Office of the European Ceramics Industries, Cerame-Unie, and a Spanish competitor of Ponsal), which it had received following publication of the initiation of proceedings in the Official Journal of the European Communities of 9 August 1997.
Par lettre du 21 octobre 1997, la Commission a transmis aux autorités espagnoles les observations que des tiers (le bureau de liaison de l'industrie de la céramique du marché commun, Cérame-UNIE, et un concurrent espagnol de Ponsal) lui avaient fait parvenir après la publication, au Journal officiel des Communautés européennes du 9 août 1997, de l'avis d'ouverture de la procédure, afin qu'elles puissent les commenter.
