However, it was established that, although products falling within both code numbers have certain similarities, they show significant differences in chemical properties and in end use and are for most purposes not interchangeable. Consequently, they were considered separate products and as the quantities of SG pig iron imported from the countries concerned were relatively small, this product was excluded from the investigation.
