Combined with the existing provisions of Articles 51 and 52 of Regulation (EC) 1257/1999 on rural development, which already offer broad possibilities for Member States to forego state aid notifications, the introduction of this block exemption regulation is a huge step forward to ensure efficient supervision and simplified administration in the field of agricultural state aids without weakening Commission monitoring.
En liaison avec les articles 51 et 52 du règlement (CE) 1257/1999 sur le développement rural, qui offrent déjà aux États membres de larges possibilités d'éviter la notification des aides d'État, l'introduction de ce règlement sur l'exemption par catégorie est un énorme pas vers une gestion simplifiée et un contrôle efficace des aides d'État sans affaiblissement de la surveillance de la Commission.
