La Commission européenne a décidé aujourd'hui de prendre des mesures à l'encontre de la République tchèque, de l'Allemagne, de la Grèce, de la Lituanie, du Luxembourg, de l'Espagne et du Royaume-Uni, au motif que ces pays ont enfreint les dispositions de l'UE en matière de réception par type. Conformément à l'article 46 de la directive 2007/46/CE, et plus précisément à l'article 13 du règlement (CE) n° 715/2007, qui est directement applicable, les États membres doivent avoir des sanctions efficaces, proportionnées et dissuasives pour décourager les constructeurs automobiles d'enfreindre la loi.
