8.4. L'essai au permanganate peut être faussé si l'échantillon d'alcool à analyser n'a pas été stocké dans un flacon en verre parfaitement propre, fermé par un bouchon de verre rodé qui a été rincé à l'alcool ou par un autre bouchon enveloppé d'étain ou d'aluminium.
8.4. The permanganate test may be distorted when the alcohol sample for analysis has not been stored in a perfectly clean glass flask, sealed with either a ground glass stopper which has been rinsed with alcohol or another stopper encased in tin or aluminium.
