En plus des exigences posées dans le présent règlement et ses annexes, les médicaments contenant des cellules ou des tissus non humains ne sont autorisés que lorsqu'il est certain qu'ils ne vont pas engendrer de problèmes concernant l'identification de rétrovirus endogènes dans les cellules externes et chez les receveurs, la possible création de nouveaux virus, les éventuelles réactions immunitaires ou le possible développement de cancers.
In addition to the requirements laid down in this Regulation and the Annexes hereto, products containing non-human cells or tissues shall be authorised only where it is guaranteed that they will not give rise to problems relating to the identification of endogen retroviruses in the external cells and in the recipients, the possible creation of new viruses, possible immune reactions or the possible development of cancer.
