Les États membres veillent à ce que tout suspect incapable de comprendre ou de suivre le contenu ou la signification de la procédure en raison de son âge, de son état de santé, de son handicap physique ou mental, de son illettrisme ou de son état émotionnel particulier bénéficie d'une attention particulière, afin de garantir le caractère équitable de la procédure.
1. Member States shall ensure that a suspected person who cannot understand or follow the content or the meaning of the proceedings owing to his age, state of health, physical or mental disability, illiteracy or particular emotional condition is given specific attention in order to safeguard the fairness of the proceedings.
