transit authorities have been very clear in calling for it—an added category, which would be community organizations that would like to use the railway line for a linear park, or for purposes of bicycle networks within a community. Essentiellement, ce que nous voulons, c'est que la compagnie de chemin de fer soit tenue d'offrir le transfert de ses intérêts non seulement aux gouvernements ou aux administrations de transport de banlieue, et soit dit en passant, il s'agit-là d'une amélioration importante dans ce projet de loi, qu'avaient d'ailleurs très clairement demandé les administrations de transport de banlieue — mais aussi aux organismes communautaires qui voudraient transformer les lignes de chemin de fer en parc linéaire ou en un réseau de pistes cyclables.
