Le 4 août 1987, Systran et la Commission ont conclu un « contrat de collaboration » portant sur l’organisation en commun du développement et de l’amélioration du système de traduction Systran pour les langues officielles, actuelles et futures de la Communauté, ainsi que sur sa mise en application. Le contrat prévoyait que la loi belge était applicable en cas de différend entre les parties.

4.
